A set of three hand letterpress printed cards with original illustrations.
“Ain’t no mountain high enough”, bringing Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s duet to mind, is a different way of telling someone that you like them.“Beyond the mountains there are mountains again.” is an haitian proverb meaning that as we reach the top of one mountain life gives us another…we can climb forever continually shaping and achieving new heights of life, of happiness and of understanding.
The “Time to climb a mountain” card works in the literally as well as in the figuratively way. Maybe you can climb the mountain together?!
All cards are folded to a size of 5.5” by 4.25”. The set comes with three different colored envelopes. The inside is left blank for you to write wishes, a love note or a good idea you want to share with someone.
Buy your set here.

mural
Chad Kouri, Rod Hunting, Ryan Duggan, Sonnenzimmer and me are painting a mural in Wicker Park.

This is it after this weekend, two more colors to go:

“In an increasingly paranoid state of humanity, with bills needing to be paid, unsuitability of jobs and mouths to feed, people more and more often need to be reminded to take a break. Taking the time to be creative and make something whether it serves a functional or strictly aesthetic purpose is a natural stress reliever. The satisfaction of stepping back and looking at a final piece that never would have existed without you is a great feeling. So, with this mural we hope to not only remind people to take the time to make things but actually engage the walk-by audience and ask them to participate.” (Chad)

This video is an attempt to catch the feeling of our mobile generation. It’s about movement, uncertainty, restlessness, arrival, diversity, …, temporary home.
I made it for my final presentation at university.

One of my latest projects. A special thread makes the stitched edges glow in the dark.

Thanks to Simon Haase for the photos.
